This is a windmill I built from PVC pipe, a treadmill motor, and a scrap piece of plywood. It pivots on a 2" pole with an automotive wheel bearing. It easily produces 6V of current, but usually around 7.5V to 8V. I will be charging huge golf cart 6V batteries wired in parallel. That way my charge will be over 6V. When I use the batteries, I will use quick connect adapters to change it to series parallel. That way I can get 12V on about 10 golf cart batteries.
